A Slide is not a Slide

We emphasize individuality. Over time we have been including a big variety of shapes in the repertoire. Each of these shapes has its advantages. A short introduction into the world of that ‘little tube’ or what else you can do out of it.

• The straight slide
You don’t have to lose nearly any word about this classic. Everybody at least once held such slide in his hand.

• The straight slide 'special'.
The more of wall thickness at the fingertip will give you more hold and an extra of tone and sustain.

• The conical slide
In contrast to the straight slide the conical exterior enables a weight reduction without loosing the good sound when playing single-note at the fingertip .

• The double conical slide
This slide shape is modeled like a bottleneck. The wall thickness as well as the inner diameter in fingertip direction increase. Perfect for musicians who need more space at the fingertip.

• The 'Nosetip' slide
No more slipping from the string while playing single-note. Obvious advantage: the round tip enables you to play many things up to a clean intonation playing double-stop.

• Inside conical slide ‘reverse style’
The idea behind this slide: weight reduction of a straight slide without loosing sound and material thickness at the fingertip. This slide shape also has the advantage of finger guidance up to the tip.

• Double conical slide ‘reverse style’
The same as the inside conical slide. However there is the possibility to get more material thickness at the fingertip and only a slight weigth increasing.

• Concave slide
Slide for guitars with strongly curved fretboards. What you need – you get it. Even with various radii.

Furthermore we offer various profiled edges:

• rounded
A 90° bow, the edge is neatly rounded

• the so-called ‘flat cut’
a hard edge optimized for ‘pull offs’. The edge is rounded only slightly to avoid sharp burrs.

• bevelled:
The edge is chamfered by 45°.
